Rock restaurants oyster
Cornwall has been dubbed 'Britain's new foodie capital' by the Guardian. There are numerous restaurants to choose from, from excellent Michelin starred and seafood restaurants, cosy country pubs to family friendly restaurants serving homemade international and traditional dishes. No visit to North Cornwall is complete without sampling the locally caught seafood. The freshest of fish, crab and lobster are included on many local menus and, together with the great variety of locally grown vegetables and produce, they help to promote the area’s excellent culinary reputation. We do recommend that you book a table in advance particularly during school holidays as many of the restaurants get very booked up in these periods. We have put together a list of some of the most popular restaurants, cafes and pubs in the area of North Cornwall surrounding Padstow and the seven bays, this is just a small selection that are available and we are sure you will discover your own favourites.

Restaurant Nathan Outlaw

Nathan Outlaw's fine dining signature restaurant was awarded two Michelin stars in 2011 and has seriously cemented Rock's foodie credentials. Located within the St. Enodoc Hotel and just 500 metres from The Mariners Lettings, the specially designed seafood tasting menu has a focus on sustainable seafood caught off the Cornish coast. This smaller, more intimate venue sees Nathan personally cooking for each guest as he showcases the finest local and seasonal produce from small artisan producers.

Seafood & Grill

Set in the St. Enodoc Hotel and overseen by Nathan Outlaw, The Seafood & Grill overlooks the Camel Estuary, making it a great location for a relaxing meal, snack or drink, especially during fine weather when you can sit outside on the hotel's terrace. The menu allows diners to choose from the finest, freshest market fish and premium Cornish meat.
